An Independent Performing Arts School in West London in recruiting for a Performing Arts Teacher to start in September 2013. The teacher will teach the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Acting. The Performing Arts school has an independent vocational school for pupils aged 11-18 years as well as BA and MA degrees in Acting and Musical Theatre.
The school is a lively, friendly and fun environment, and students are lively, engaged and keen to learn. To working in this environment you must enjoy delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students, with an emphasis on student participation and active learning. Teachers with a desire to assist in or experience with productions welcome!

Knowledge, Skills & Personal Qualities:
- Qualified Teacher, PGCE or GTP
- Previous experience teaching BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in ActingExcellent knowledge and understanding of subject area (Performing arts)
- Curriculum planning and management
- Principles and practices of monitoring, assessment and evaluation
- An ability to lead students in your specialist skills areas
- Excellent interpersonal skills
