A boutique global investment bank is looking to hire a Citrix and Microsoft App-V Engineer in a mixed Project and 3rd line Support capacity, ensuring the stability of regional Citrix and App-V farms. The ability to troubleshoot complex issues, knowledge share and translate designs into engineered solutions will be key.

The Citrix/App-V Engineer will be the subject matter expert (SME) for these two core areas, in particular with a range of Citrix products including XenApp, Pro-Services, NetScaler, XenDesktop and XenServer.

Ideal Skill Set:

  • Install/Admin/Support for XenApp 6/6.5
  • Citrix Provisioning Services 6.1
  • Citrix NetScaler and StoreFront
  • Application packaging, admin and support using Microsoft App-V 4.6
  • Strong Windows server knowledge and associated infrastructure: Networking, Active Directory, Storage and general authentication/security.
  • Appreciation of Virtualisation including XenServer/VMware
  • CCEE, CCEA or MCP certified

Whilst there are the core Citrix and App-V technical requirements for the role, equally as important is finding a candidate who is highly personable as the team and company are not likely many banks, they are very sociable and employees build strong relationships across business and technology teams globally.
