The Bexley Education Supply Team is a collaboration between Randstad Education and the London Borough of Bexley. We are currently recruiting a well-respected 3 form entry school in London Borough of Greenwich who wish to seek to appoint a Year 2 Class teacher for September 2013.

The school creates a lively, stimulating environment where children learn to work together in a purposeful and enjoyable way, wanting to be challenged and taking a pride in their own and others' achievements. The children are encouraged to be independent, aware of the needs of others, and to be confident in their relationships with both children and adults. The ideal applicant must be pro-active, reliable and team orientated. This school strives to provide a caring environment where children feel safe and happy.

Applicants need to have experience of working within KS1 year groups and achieving high standards within Primary Education. You must possess the ability to motivate students from different backgrounds and cultures and be able to differentiate lessons for all abilities. You need to have excellent strategies for classroom control and be able to engage students through delivering inspiring lessons.

The successful candidate will be :

* Experience of working in KS1 and in particular Yr 2

* committed to excellence, inclusion and high expectations

* highly effective in the planning, delivery and evaluation of all lessons

* effective organisers with good interpersonal skills

* able to maintain positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents

* able to lead and raise standards within a curriculum area
