An Ofsted graded 'good' school are looking for experienced Primary teachers across KS1 and KS2 for permanent jobs to start in September 2013
The school, the child…
A federation of two schools on the Lewisham/Bromley border are currently recruiting permanent staff across their two sites. The schools are both larger than average, two and three form entry, with a very diverse community and cultural mix.
Both the enriched curriculum and planned cultural activities make good provision for pupils to develop their social, moral, spiritual and cultural understanding. There are good links between both sites; teachers frequently plan together with their colleagues in the partner school. Planning is imaginative and detailed and is adapted to suit the needs of their pupils.
The federation has links with charities, churches and groups within the neighbourhood to encourage the building of a close community. In addition to this the school houses a specially resourced provision for special educational needs. This discrete facility has 16 places, eight currently filled, for pupils on the autism spectrum and is referred to as the resource base. It is in its second year of operation.
The proportion of pupils making, and exceeding, typically expected progress in English and mathematics is well above the national average. This good level of achievement continues to be seen throughout the school. Attainment in Year 6 and early years shows continual improvement and is above average. The Job…
