A Secondary School in Windsor are seeking a well-qualified Teacher of Art and Design to lead on delivery of these subjects across our new all-through school. The successful candidate will be a creative individual, excited by the challenge of designing an Art and Design curriculum from the ground up. He or she will be a problem solver, looking for opportunities to craft engaging explorations and discoveries from any aspect of school life. We are looking for an outstanding teacher, able to enthuse students across phases, teaching primarily in the Senior school, but also delivering lessons and helping to guide the Art and Design curriculum in the Primary phase of the school.It is desirable for candidates also to offer Design Technology up to KS3. For the right candidate we can offer other positions of responsibility, including pastoral roles.
The vacant post opens in September 2013 with classes in Years 7-9. At the heart of our vision is a school which nurtures children to achieve great things, challenges them to apply their learning in our extended day activities and inspires them to engage in a rigorous, academic curriculum creatively.
