The Organisation

The organisation that the Green Recruitment Company is working with an internationally leading oil and gas consultancy who are looking to add a Senior Project Engineer to their rapidly expanding topside team.


The Role

An Engineer performs engineering calculations, prepares purchase specifications as well as reviews and corrects drawings under his charge. The responsibilities include the preparation of test procedures, technical review of vendor quotations and resolving of site problems. Besides interacting with customers, vendors and regulatory bodies on design matters, the project engineer will also directs the activities of the subordinates assigned to them.


Responsibilities

• Responsible for all activities associated with Topsides facilities design.
• Coordination of Topsides equipment design and layout requirements.
• Coordination of B&V facilities design equipment and layout requirements.
• Preparation of Facilities layout drawings and details.
• Coordination of Emergency Evacuation layout requirements
• Coordination of mechanical handling requirements.
• Coordination of technical requirement with Procurement groups.
• Review of B&V progress and impact on master schedule.
• WOM Point of contact for B&V related work scope.


The Candidate

• Academic Diploma/Degree in engineering from an accredited university
• 6 year experience with Oil & Gas projects, specifically covering floating production topsides and facilities design, fabrication and commissioning. Detail knowledge of facilities equipment and integration requirements.
• Project experience with Floating LNG and Regasification Topsides design, fabrication and installation. BV class experience.
• Excellent team management and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to a deadline
