The client

The Green Recruitment Company are currently working alongside a well-respected energy consultancy who are looking for an Account Manager to join their growing sales team

Key Activities:

Your core activity will be to create relationships with, and generate business from Energy Brokers, follow up sales enquiries, supporting the Brokers in generating offers to generate sales.
We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual with solid sales and Account Management experience, ideally from within a B2B environment.

Main responsibilities:

The post holder’s responsibilities include:

Develop & grow the relationships within the Broker Channel & ultimately the volume contracted.
To meet and exceed Sales Targets, develop & maintain a portfolio of supplies with Brokers and new business sales. Communication over the telephone with some face to face Broker review meetings as and when required.
Build relationships within the TPI/Broker channel that will increase our understanding of our market position and competitors. Understand, monitor and respond to changes and developments in the UK energy industry.
Liaise with Brokers to obtain and validate feedback to support price negotiation and to close deals.
Manage the resolution of Broker queries working in collaboration with internal teams. It will be important to demonstrate the ability to build strong internal relationships.
As a team member, contribute to the overall success of the team and Company goals by maintaining regular attendance, punctuality, focus and professionalism at all times.

Key Skill Requirements: (knowledge, skills, experience & qualifications)

The post holder will have:
• Experience of the energy industry preferred.
• Track record in negotiating and delivering sales, working to targets.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently & within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure.
