The Organisation:

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a leading Chinese Solar Power Technology company looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to expand operations in Australia. The perfect candidate would be a Chinese speaking sales professional with understanding of the Australian renewable energy marketplace.

The responsibilities of the role:

- Identify the requirements of the client and company, and develop strategies to meet these needs.
- Promote the company and services it can provide to clients with potential business opportunities – negotiate and settle on contracts.
- Build a wide network of suppliers and external contacts.
- Provide excellent customer service and accurate, reliable information regarding the services offered by the company.
- Research the national market and develop new strategies to help gain more business opportunities.

Experience and skills:

- Extensive experience in sales, business development and marketing supported with a good degree.
- Must have lived and worked in Australia for at least 2 years – need to be familiar with the Australian solar PV market forces and opportunities.
- Ability to speak Chinese will be a strong advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of solar power technology
- Previous track record of project technical sales
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Confidence in negotiation of contracts and communicating with new clients
