We are currently recruiting for an English teacher to work at a local School in the north London area. This role is due to start in September 2013 and is offered on a full time basis for a 12 month period.

A fantastic opportunity for a teacher of English in a strong department within a successful and oversubscribed school. The English Department provides a stimulating, well-balanced and inclusive curriculum which is designed to allow all pupils to maximise their potential. Lessons involve a wide variety of learning styles employed by a highly professional and hard-working team of teachers. During Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four students study a range of plays, novels, poetry, non-fiction and media texts and take part in many Speaking and Listening activities. Progress of students is closely monitored and assessed to ensure that all pupils achieve their potential. The Department has a wide range of excellent modern resources which it utilises to make English an exciting and enjoyable experience. We recognise the importance of literacy to all our pupils and we make it our goal to make sure that all our pupils are given the chance to succeed. The post will be teaching KS3 and GCSE classes. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher than can inspire and engage.
Clearly all candidates must be either NQT or have Qualified Teacher Status.
