Full Time

Perform manual testing of new functionality & regression of existing functionality.

Analyse project documents and identify test conditions/scenarios/cases that provide full and manageable test coverage.

Provide comprehensive analysis of any issue/defect prior to recording in a defect tracking tool and manage the tracking of defects until closure.

Obtain pertinent project and system knowledge from Developers / Business Analysts /Subject Matter Experts.

Independently work on the project throughout the complete project life cycle.

Generate regular test status report and communicate pertinent issue escalations.

Maintain testing standards and ensure that they are adhered to, as well as actively contribute to the overall test process improvement efforts


Strong functional (front-end, back-end) testing skills

Good working knowledge on RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server)

Proficient in basic SQL and Unix

Substantial experience with any software testing tools (e.g. Quality Center, JIRA)

Well-versed in Testing Methodologies, Testing Life Cycle and other fundamental test concepts

Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Good team player and can work with minimal supervision

Self-motivated, confident, pro-active and responsible


Basic knowledge in testing batch type applications developed using Perl and SQL databases and scheduler tool technologies (e.g. Autosys).

Considerable experience on reports functional testing and basic understanding on business intelligence reporting platform (e.g. Business Objects)
