Security Project Manager -Cyber, Digital Security, Secure Email
I have a Security Project Manager requirement for a well known oil and gas company based near Uxbridge looking to pay up to £500 per day.
One of the primary means of defenses is through cyber-attacks on end user devices. Historically, company user device functionality has had a bias towards user flexibility versus control. The department is recommending an increased lock-down of the end user computing environment to further increase security. The Secure Foundations Programme is being launched to improve the security and control of the end user computing environment.
A project manager is required to initially deliver the short-term initiatives which covers:
- Application Blacklisting
Digital Security maintains a blacklist of known malware that is regularly updated. Requirement for Infrastructure to block blacklisted applications from executing on client desktops.
- Suspicious Email Handling
Suspicious emails are supposed to be forwarded to the Security Operations Centre as attachments. Requirement for Operational Infrastructure to provide a tool to simplify this process.
- Highlight External Emails
Requirement for Operational Infrastructure to flag emails that are initiated from outside of the company's Exchange email service.
If this is a role that is of interest to you then please send across your CV as soon as possible for immediate feedback.
