The Client


The Green Recruitment Company is working with a world class management and construction company with over 125 years’ experience in the property and construction industry. They are currently looking for two Sustainability Consultants to join their growing teams in either Bristol or Leeds. Forming a key element within the company’s Advisory Services, the Sustainability department helps businesses identify, understand and manage environmental impacts by providing a broad range of sustainability services that can be tailored to suit individual needs.


The Role


Working for the Sustainability team within our client’s Advisory Services Ltd, your role will be to work alongside senior sustainability consultants in assisting in the preparation of sustainability assessments and the delivery of sustainability consultancy services.


Key Accountabilities


• Gathering and validation of data/ evidence in respect of sustainability assessments or consultancy services
• Preparation of reports, BREEAM, LEED, Code for Sustainable Homes, Site Waste Management Plans
• Research into best practice guidance notes
• Support in preparation of fee proposals


Skills and Experience


• Educated to Degree level in a constructions or environmental discipline
• Proven track record within a construction or environmental consultancy, with a good understanding of the construction process
• A qualified assessor and past experience taking schemes through from interim to final certification
• A BREEAM accredited professional is preferred
• Consultancy experience outside of BREEAM would be an advantage
