The Organisation:
The Green Recruitment Company are representing one most successful renewable energy companies in the UK. They are now looking to fill a National Sales Manager position to head up their new division.

Responsibilities:
• To manage the entire sales channel for the product line
• To achieve profitable sales of the products and solutions.
• To manage the client facing activities of the Company
• To provide technical sales activity to both building services professionals and private clients by providing consultation and quotation output from initial enquiry to order placement.
• To manage the sales growth of the company, working with the Company to improve practices as it grows.
• Prioritise and manage response to sales enquiries received via phone calls, emails and website enquiries
• Meet and discuss scheme proposals with potential clients
• Manage involvement of technical and installation staff support to sales processes and client visits
• Prepare Cost Estimates and Quotations
• Attend site/design meetings pre-contract
• Prepare handover documentation on receipt of the signed order from the client
• Develop relationships across the UK with key clients
• To ensure that forecasts are maintained and delivered to the Managing Director as required
• To achieve the agreed sales targets
• To deliver technical seminars and attend exhibitions as required
• To develop improvements to the company procedures and policies as appropriate
• To participate in the development of the Company MARCOMS plans with the wider management team, and manage the delivery of this via RES Group or outsourced resources.

Required Skills:
• Proven experience in technical product sales
• Direct Sales experience
• Client facing experience
• Good communication skills
• Competent user of word, excel and outlook
• Ability to remain motivated by deadlines
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to organise workload and balance priorities
• Ability to take a systematic approach to work
• Renewable Energy experience desirable
• Building Services Engineering background desirable
• Staff supervisory/management experience desirable
