We have a great new opportunity for an experienced Additional Learning Support (ALS) Manager to work with a leading FE College in Essex.

The successful applicant will be reporting to the Head of Additional Learning Support and will be responsible for the leadership of the section as well has the College's strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
* Line management of allocated staff such as learning support workers, communication support workers and others
* To support, develop and coordinate disability support for students with a range of learning needs, such as physical and mental health support
* Leading on section reviews and monitoring actions on the QIP

As the successful applicant, you will have:
* Proven experience of managing an ALS department with staff management responsibilities
* Demonstrable understanding of disability and support needs of learners in an education setting
* A demonstrable commitment to educational values as shown in the college strategic plan
