The Company

The Green Recruitment Company is representing an award winning company who work directly with clients to develop, design and install commercial, industrial and utility scale solar. They are currently looking to recruit a commercial sales executive to join the sales team.

The Role

• Selling the project knowledge to key customers (including national and international corporates, land agents and investors) who have concerns over the increasing price of energy and recognize the need to reduce carbon
• The role will include the development of relationships with a select number of customers
• Meeting sales targets
• Negotiating contracts with clients
• Utilising the customer database as a tool to track opportunities for sales
• Handle project files keeping them up to date and keeping records of discussions and correspondence with clients
• Be a representative for the company at trade exhibitions and shows
• Correspond with project management, legal and finance team to guarantee the completion of contractual negotiations
• Build relationships and influence sales support, design and project management in order to meet deadlines.

The Candidate

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and sales driven
• Individual who is dedicated to providing excellent customer service, including the ability to create and build relationships with clients
• Familiarity with key desires within the renewable market
• Capacity to work towards sales targets

Skills and Experience

• A level or equivalent and degree calibre
• Excellent communication skills
• The ideal candidate will have some structured or formal sales training
• Work effectively as part of a team
• Good planning and organisation skills
• Be able to produce accurate reports on sales pipeline
• The ability to carry out financial modelling
• Utilise relationships to help produce confidence in the company and its products and services
• Excellent self-presentation with integrity, credibility and professionalism
• Experienced in sales with a recognized success in sales
