Morgan Hunt, a leading Public Sector Recruitment Consultancy are working in partnership with a North London Local Authority to recruit for an experienced Administrator to join their Governors Support and Clerking Service on a temporary ongoing basis.

Main purpose of the role is to provide day-to-day administration support of school admission panels and independent review panels for school exclusions. Main duties will include:

- Arranging admission appeals, exclusion hearings, disciplinary meetings and organising and distributing all relevant paperwork as necessary
- Taking minutes as required for above mentioned meetings and hearings
- Monitor and process claims on behalf of clerks
- Arranging training for presenting officers, Panel members and Clerks
- Typing of correspondence and confidential reports, filing and retrieval of documents, opening of correspondence and drafting replies to enquiries
- Responsible for taking and passing on messages quickly and efficiently

Candidates will need:

- Experience of administrative support and working in an office environment
- Able to work as part of a team as well as work on own initiative and manage own workload
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Good educational background, ideally to A-Level standard or equivalent
- Ability to organise and coordinate meetings including taking minutes, arranging venues and preparing papers
- Good IT skills including knowledge of MS Office packages
