My client is a leading global IT consultancy in the infrastructure space.

They are looking for a Program Director to manage a large account going through transformation al changes and upgrades. You will ideally have experience in the financial services arena.

The Program Director needs to have the following experience

* Extensive experience, out of which at least 5+ years of experience in leading PMO with staff of project management professionals

* Extensive experience in leading complex projects with multiple program managers/ project managers/ project coordinators

* Experienced in establishing organization structure, and make tough decisions that are necessary to protect the integrity of the PMO

* Experience in managing diverse and multiple teams and complete ownership and responsibility of the team

* Experience as value creator and act as catalyst in growth of PMO organization

* Should have extensive Project Management Training experience

The Program Directors main responsibilities are

*Plan, direct & ensure the successful management of standard Project / Program Management Processes across regional delivery units

* Establish and maintain resource management processes enabling resource demands, future resourcing, identify critical resource risks, and the overall resource utilization across PMO

* Enhance organizational tools used for project reporting and project delivery to help operationalize full use of these tools

* Allocate the appropriate resources to ensure that projects, enhancements and support are completed within time, scope and budget

* Own the consistent implementation of Global Project Management Methodology across delivery units

* Drive and establish escalation matrix for critical project for mitigation risk at all the levels

* Work with business leaders to support transition/ transformation/ SS projects and overall strategic initiatives

* Review project portfolio and contents periodically and assess for linkage, support, and contribution to major goals and strategies

* Liaison between business leaders and senior management to drive program/ projects budget at strategic level

* Continuously evaluate industry best practices for project management and make recommendations for its adoption within the organization
