We are currently recruiting for a number of secondary posts for a local Academy.
The roles are to start in September initially on a temporary basis.
Post holders will have strong teaching experience within their own subject area and be able to demonstrate tangible results from their teaching. They may also have experience of delivering other subjects.
Current understanding of OFSTED requirements is important to ensure a consistent level of teaching throughout the school.
Demonstrable results from OFSTED would be advantageous.
Behaviour management is essential as the classes are often mixed ability and it is key that you are able to adapt your teaching to individual requirements.
Under new management, this school has gone from strength to strength. It has focussed on raising standards and expectations from the children which in turn has seen a huge improvement in results.
They have some "Outstanding" teachers in place already and are keen to provide a full compliment of like minded individuals to the teaching team.
A mixed ability school with a range of subject specialisms to support all manner of learning. Keen to ensure that each child makes progress during their time at the school, it is essential that learning is tailored to individual needs.
Experience of working with a range of abilities would be desirable as the classrooms can cater for all levels.
Teaching support is available and the ability to utilise this in lesson to the benefit of the child is critical.
