Due to our long running success providing in house supply services for South London Boroughs such as Wandsworth, Lambeth, Lewisham and Bexley, we currently need more teachers to help us meet the increasing demands of schools in Hammersmith and Fulham, who have been recommended to us by their neighbouring boroughs.
The school is a new academy currently only consisting of Reception and Year1 pupils. The school has high expectations and standards of pupils and teachers alike, but also promotes a well rounded and creative education for pupils. They are keen to allow children to become involved with and experience a range of subjects, including music, embedding a love for creative subjects from a young age in order to enhance their core subject learning.
Southwark is a highly diverse area, with the school having pupils from a wide variety of cultural and religious backgrounds. This can lead to a range of ability levels, as well as EAL needs, however the school has a strong support network of specialist TAs and other resources to assist teachers. The pupils can display challenging behaviour due to their varying home lives, so the ideal teacher will have a strong personality, and have creative and practical methods of classroom management, able to deliver inclusive lessons, which make children eager to learn and become more involved in their own learning journeys.
