Teacher of maths (MPS)
January 2014We are a popular 11-18 comprehensive school with a growing and developing sixth form provision. We place great importance on the quality of liaison with our primary schools and seek to make the transition to a large secondary school as smooth as possible, particularly for those who join us from small primary schools. As a specialist school for Performing Arts we value the contribution our performing arts' status makes in developing the confidence, self-expression and creativity of all our pupils. The school offers an extensive range of extra-curricular activities available beyond the arts. We have an exceptional reputation for sporting achievement, and we enhance our teaching through a range of visits there is a thriving programme for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and trekking expeditions open to sixth form students. Our school seeks the services of an engaging and motivated Maths Teacher to join an active teaching and learning team. Exceptional mathematical knowledge with an understanding of the national curriculum is essential for the successful candidate.
