The Job:

We are currently looking for several LSA's to work at a number of Schools across the Berkshire area. These roles are offered on an ad hoc day to day basis as required by our Schools.

We need enthusiastic LSA's who are willing to work alongside teachers to assist in tasks set out each day. If you enjoy the variety of working in different schools & the challenge of a busy school day, then please contact us.

The School

We have a variety of Schools that currently have this requirement across Berkshire. Some Schools are high achievers and have a strong academic record whilst others are improving and display more challenging behaviour. We are proud to support a number of special needs schools which range in size, catchment area and ethos. Within these schools we need assistants to help provide crucial provision to pupils who have learning difficulties. The duties of a teaching assistant are varied and are dependant on the needs of the child you will be supporting. Many students require one to one support, where having an understanding of special needs is crucial as often the curriculum is matched to the needs of the child. We understand that every student and every school is different and as a result we carefully match our staff with the right job.

The Child

You will encounter a diverse mix of pupils across our range of Schools. Good behaviour management skills, a passion for teaching and a dynamic and flexible approach will be advantageous for these positions.

If you are interested in applying for this position please submit your details or alternatively you can contact us on 01189 572884 to arrange your interview at our Reading office.

(All applicants must meet Randstad Education's strict recruitment criteria and hold a clear enhanced CRB criminal records bureau disclosure)
