Harrington Starr is currently working with a leading automated trading house specialising in quant dev and algorithmic platforms operating in an HFT environment. Due to steady growth and Financial success, an excellent opportunity is available for a technical application support analyst with a highly technical background to join the London based team.

As the Automated trade support analyst, you will be:

  • Working with the developers to automate bug fix and release process.
  • Working across multiple areas of the platforms components.
  • Working with a broad range of technologies sitting in a Windows environment.
  • Using extensive with shell and Perl scripting as well as using pieces of code to control and ensure the most out of the platform.

  • A 2:1 or higher degree in mathematics or computer science is essential

  • Experience working within an automated trading environment would be highly preferential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work along side developers and quants is essential
