We are currently recruiting for an English teacher to work at a local School in the Lewisham area of London. This role is due to start in October 2013 and is offered on a full time basis for two terms. The English department have continued its proud record in pupil progress and are ready to adapt the skills and strengths a new candidate would bring as part of exciting team. The Child
The school thrives in an area of social and economic disadvantage and the proportion of students eligible for free school meals is twice the national figure. Students with learning difficulties and or with a statement of special educational are supported in their learning through individual learning plans within mainstream teaching, in class support or personalised intervention. The ideal candidate would have experience of teaching SEN students in a mainstream environment and a passion for supporting and encouraging students through a whole child approach.
