We are currently recruiting a candidate with experience of school attendance systems , SIMS and procedures to oversee attendance work and initiatives at a small south Oldham Secondary School.

Working to improve attendance in partnership with parents and teachers you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of success of the students evidenced by 97.2% A*- C GCSE pass rate and 50% including English and Maths. The school caters to local students within the south Oldham area and runs various extra currciular and in school projects to encourage attendance. The provision for SEN students is excellent.
The post is 36.66 hours per week Term-Term Only + 10 days.

Taking absence calls from parents
Contacting parents of students absent from school
Experience of school attendance systems
Experience of SIMS
Knowledge of procedures to oversee attendance work
Reporting attendance information to Senior Leadership team
Salary Grade 5 Spine point 24-29
This role was previously advertised as a permanent role . It is highly likely that the candidate taken on the temporary interim role would be offered the permanent role at the school.
