Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting in conjunction with Vital Regeneration to recruit for a Work Programme Manager.

The Work Programme Manager will be responsible for leading the operational delivery model and targets. He/she will be charged with ensuring the achievement of clearly defined performance indicators and results. Vital Regeneration are currently in the second year of contract delivery, and the post holder will work to ensure the operational model is, and remains, fit for purpose. This will involve ensuring that both individual support sessions and the entire customer journey are effective and of a high quality.

Throughout the life of the contract the post holder will be responsible for the continuous improvement of our operational delivery. Key aspects of this will include supporting a motivated and high performing team, developing partnerships that will benefit our varied client groups, managing performance through effective intervention and clear reporting to the Director of Employability to ensure decisions are taken in a timely fashion.

The Work Programme Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships that will aid the delivery of the contract. These will include relationship building with Reed in Partnership, local JCPs and supply chain partners. The Work Programme Manager will be responsible for line managing a team of up to 8 staff members.

This position will be subject to an enhanced CRB Disclosure check

Duties and Responsibilities:
*To ensure a fit for purpose operational model is established and regularly reviewed in order to deliver relevant contracts at defined quality levels.
*To ensure contractual performance targets are met.
*To line manage a team of up to 8 people, ensuring they are motivated and performing at the required level.
*To monitor and manage performance through clear communication with the team and Director of Employability such that effective and timely intervention is taken.
*To establish strong and effective working relationships with relevant partner organisations.
*To support a small case load of clients through a journey appropriate to their needs.
*To develop strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders, for example, Reed in Partnership, local JCPs and supply chain partners.
*To support the Director of Employability in developing an employer engagement strategy.
*To support the Director of Employability and Business Development team in relevant bidding opportunities.
*To support the Employability team and wider charity in ad-hoc projects when required.
*From time to time, you will be requested by the Director of Employability to carry out other tasks in addition to the above that are commensurate with the role.
