Our client is a large UK wide Organisation with an exciting opportunity for a permanent IT Office Manager to be based in their Horsham site. This person will provide administrative support with particular respect to financial, auditing and departmental procedures. This permanent position with require the IT Office Manager to have line management experience of at least 1 direct report. The IT Office Manager will be required to manage their own workload in accordance with the requirements of the role, prioritising and routine administrative work, software compliance, hardware auditing, and in matters of line management. This role would suit someone who is keen to work in an IT environment and interested in understanding IT processes and keeping that knowledge up to date

Job Responsibilities:
- Line management experience.
- Full administrative support.
- Organising hardware and software audits.
- Maintaining Software licenses and audit maintenance contracts.
- Arranging maintenance for any new equipment or systems in liaison with the rest of the department to ensure budgetary provision is made for any costs associated.
- Providing guidance to users regarding Data Protection legislation and where necessary consult with the Information Protection Officer or legal department, in particular in relation to work on domain registrations.
- Co-ordinate the registration of domain names for the whole Society, ensuring that all legal requirements are met in the process.
- Monitor spend on nominal codes for all budgets and highlight any potential overspend to Team Leaders on a monthly basis.
- Provide extensive support to Team Leaders through the budget process in preparing information for their budgets and advising them on the process.

Education, Experience and Skills:
- GCSE level English and Maths (a Business Administration qualification would be highly desired)
- Solid, all round experience of IT office administration
- Previous experience working in an IT department
- Experience managing or supervising staff
- Experience of software licensing compliance and audits
- Line management experience
- Good documentation skills
- Good communication (verbal and written) skills
- The ability to build and maintain good working relationships
- Microsoft Word and Excel to intermediate level (advance level highly desired)
Due to the location a full valid driving license and own car is required for this position.
