This role has been released on a temporary basis they need a Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite support for their customers. This role is primarily working within a project team performing a technical refresh on our Customers current desktop and laptop estate.

They have a number of key projects underway including the upgrade of the OS from Windows XP to Windows 7 and Office 2003 to Office 2010, implementation of SCCM 2012 and a VDI environment to support 4,000 users.

Key Responsibilities:

An experienced technician/engineer is required to support a busy migration team with 9,000 devices and customers based over a large geographical area undergoing a major technical transformation.

The successful candidate will be required to;

* Install and maintain a range of ICT hardware
* Support the migration of the operating system and office products
* Assist customers with post-migration issues
* Maintain accurate records to maintain the ICT CMDB

Skills and Experience

* Microsoft Windows XP / 7
* Microsoft Office 2003 / 2010
* ICT Hardware maintenance
* ICT Network skills
* ITIL Foundation
* UK Driver's License

* Citrix XenApp
* Citrix XenDesktop
* Microsoft App-V
* Microsoft SCCM 2012


* Microsoft accreditation a benefit but not essential.
