IT Support Analyst - Desktop Support / 1st line / 2nd line / Customer Service / Networking - 6 month Contract - up to £200p/d - Slough
A leading worldwide organisation is now looking for a bright junior IT Support Analyst who has a keen interest in IT. The successful individual will be responsible for providing front-line advice, support and service to all end-users; maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through active organisation of team efforts.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will have a few years experience of providing desktop and networking support in a demanding environment.
Key Skills and Previous Experience:
- Strong experience with the Microsoft Windows platform including Windows XP/Vista and Windows 7
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- MS Office 2002 & 2010 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Office Networking experience essential - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
- Active Directory
The successful Desktop /1st Line Support will provide first and second line support to a large user base, working to SLAs and providing good customer service as well as resolving a high number of incidents at first point of contact.
