SEN Intervention Teacher (Day to Day and long term opportunities)
Randstad Education Birmingham are currently looking for SEN Intervention teachers to work in secondary schools.
Successful candidates will have an ability to manage challenging behaviour and work with individual behaviour plans and have patience and a passion for engaging hard to reach pupils.
A background in teaching core subjects would be beneficial, although applications are being sought from candidates with experience of delivering PHSE subjects.
Requirements for candidates will include:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ (Instructors considered with relevant experience)
- Up to date knowledge of the British National Curriculum
- Relevant recent teaching experience
- Own transport could be an advantage but not essential
Randstad has a range of supply opportunities working within SEN and Secondary settings.
Working with key Stage 3/4 pupils you should have expereince of working with pupils with challenging behaviour and have worked in SEN (EBD) or secondary settings.
