A global and leading provider of complex network monitoring and data flow monitoring technology are looking to recruit a Network Consultant - (PCAP, Vendor, Client Facing) to join their team of specialists in London. My client is an established name in the investment banking, brokerage trading and network monitoring space and are continuously winning new clients and new business.

The successful Network Consultant - (PCAP, Vendor, Client Facing) will work on client sites to implement, configure and support my client's solutions via the utilisation of your networking protocol, Linux and PCAP / packet capture knowledge and experience.

The typical responsibilities of the Network Consultant - (PCAP, Vendor, Client Facing) will include but is not limited to:

· Installing and configuring my client's solutions at client site

· Provide on-site support for client issues

· Designing client dashboards / screens

In order to be considered for the role of the Network Consultant - (PCAP, Vendor, Trading Systems, Low Latency, Networks, TCP/IP, multicast, FIX Protocol, Financial Services, Financial Technology) the following is important:

  • Strong network protocol knowledge - e.g. TCP
  • Knowledge of PCAP / packet capture
  • LINUX skills including basic scripting and command line
  • Client facing capability as the majority of this role will require you to be on client site and sometimes under close observation
  • Desirable skills:

  • Trade lifecycle or financial market data knowledge
  • Investment banking or financial brokerage background
  • FIX protocol knowledge
