The Role:

A leading Consultancy in the field of Energy and Carbon management is currently is looking to recruit a Carbon and Compliance Manager. This will involve working with a team in delivering the Carbon and Compliance services including Carbon Reduction Commitment and GHG reporting services to a wide range of clients. The Carbon and Compliance Manager will work in a team, reporting to a Senior Manager. The candidate will be responsible for data collection, analysis and reporting around the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) scheme, and for GHG and sustainability reporting.

A highly committed, customer focused, results driven individual will achieve great results in this demanding role.

Requirements:

Knowledge and understanding of the Carbon Reduction Commitment Compliance (CRC) scheme
Knowledge and understanding of GHG reporting processes and requirements
Knowledge and understanding of current and future legislation and carbon reporting
Excellent presentation and written communication skills
Experience with monitoring and targeting software
Experience of presenting to organisations and individuals, both orally and in writing, information and complex technical issues and potential solutions in a clear and concise manner.
Experience of dealing with clients at all levels
Demonstrable competence in using MSWord, Excel & PowerPoint
Experience of undertaking CRC or other system audits
Proven experience in service delivery for CRC and carbon reporting

Responsibilities:

To keep up to date on all legislative changes of the CRC scheme
To keep up to date on GHG reporting and other legislative requirements
To analyse utility consumption data to identify excessive use and potential savings.
To provide assistance and service cover in all other energy related activities as required.
To highlight and report on any energy efficiency or purchasing opportunities that will benefit the customer.
To deliver CRC services to a wide range of clients ensuring accuracy and compliance

Self-motivation and personal drive to complete tasks to required timescales and quality standards.
To take initiative, and work without close supervision.
Keen to develop our products and service in the carbon and compliance sectors
Proven industry experience in a similar role
