We are currently looking for an inspirational and experienced primary Headteacher for an interim assignment to start in January 2014. You will need to have a proven record in bringing rapid improvement in attainment and be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities. Managing change and leading from the front will be key in this role and it is a great opportunity to use your skills and expertise to benefit others.
The school, the child…
The primary school, which is due to become an academy, is above average in size and is based in south London. It serves a diverse population and around half of the pupils are eligible for the pupil premium. The school has been placed into special measures following an Ofsted inspection earlier in the year. The school is already seeing rapid improvement under the current interim leadership but will require this to be pushed further into next year.
