An award winning provider of multi asset trading technology is working with Harrington Starr to find a Service Desk Analyst (Scripting, Analytical, financial understanding, graduate, communication skills) to work as part of their specialist support team within their Surrey based office.

As part of this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for responding to incidents raised by clients and using business acumen to identify the nature of the incident and action it appropriately. They will also be expected to build relationships with clients and partake in regular client site visits to assist with issue resolution and increase business knowledge where requested.

To be considered for the role of Service Desk Analyst (Scripting, Analytical, financial understanding, graduate, communication skills) applicants must have:

  • Have the ability to read and understand one or more of either C++, TCL or UNIX scripting
  • Have a numerate, IT or business related degree to a level of 2:1 or above
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Have an analytical and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Have a working knowledge of networks and networking infrastructure
