A global brokerage is working with Harrington Starr to find a Service Desk Analyst (Windows, Linux, Apple, Office, hardware, ITIL, Financial Services) to work as part of their team of Service Desk Analysts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for logging and updating all incidents and requests in the company's service management tool according to SLAs. There is an emphasis on supporting the Business users with technical support, documentation, maintenance and diagnostics all playing a large part in the role.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates or applicants fairly new to financial IT to get their foot in the door at a great company and kick start their career.

To be considered for the role applicants must have:

  • General Infrastructure knowledge including Desktop, Networking, Voice and communications infrastructure and Server experience
  • Windows and Linux Operating Systems
  • Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
  • Hardware support experience
  • Understanding of Wholesale Financial Services
