The client
The Green Recruitment Company are currently working alongside a leading Energy Consultancy who are looking to recruit an Energy and CRC Manager to work with a team in delivering a diverse range of energy related services and products, and CRC compliance.

The role
The Energy and CRC Manager will work in a team, reporting to a Senior Manager. You will be responsible for the delivery of site surveys, in depth reports, as well as the development and implementation of strategies at various sites to minimise energy and water use in commercial buildings. You will be responsible for data collection, analysis and reporting around the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) scheme, and for GHG and sustainability reporting.

Candidate Responsibilities

• To help develop and deliver new energy related services
• To analyse utility consumption data to identify excessive use and potential savings
• To keep up to date on all legislative change in the energy sector and for CRC requirements
• To keep up to date on GHG reporting and other legislative requirements

• To provide assistance and service cover in all other energy related activities as required.

• To highlight and report on any energy efficiency or purchasing opportunities that will benefit the customer
• To deliver CRC services to a wide range of clients ensuring accuracy and compliance
• To investigate new technologies and report findings to colleagues and clients

Candidate Requirements
• Technical expertise in implementing energy solutions, and firm understanding of building engineering services for commercial buildings
• Strong Building Services Engineering experience
• Good data analysis and interpretation skills
• Ability to carry out site surveys and investigations into building energy performance and to cost a project and determine potential savings from energy reduction and therefore the payback period
• Knowledge and understanding of the CRC scheme
• Knowledge and understanding of current and future legislation and carbon reporting
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills
• Experience with monitoring and targeting software
• Experience of presenting to organisations and individuals, both orally and in writing, information and complex technical issues and potential solutions in a clear and concise manner
• Experience of dealing with clients at all levels
• Demonstrable competence in using MSWord, Excel & PowerPoint
• Experience of undertaking CRC or other system audits
• Proven experience in service delivery for CRC and carbon reporting
• Familiarity with monitoring and targeting software
• CIBSE LCC / LCEA with up to date EPC level 4 and DEC accreditation (desirable)
• Accredited (or close to) to carry out TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections (desirable)
