A leading city based broker is seeking a service desk analyst to join their central London based team. This an elite team supporting globally leading technology, trade applications and market data feeds This role will cover a diverse range of technologies and processes and will involve working directly with the traders.

As the desktop support / service desk analyst / Change Management engineer, you will be doing the following:

  • Managing the resolution of issues and tickets raise by users
  • Manage requests raised by users
  • You will be involved in change and issues management process and procedures
  • Working with other teams across the business to stream line processes
  • Support of standard Microsoft Technologies

To be considered for the role of - Desktop Support, Help Desk Analyst, Service Management, Active Directory, ITIL, Active Directory, Microsoft, Windows Servers 2003 - 2008, VMWare, Microsoft Exchange, Financial Exchange - you will need skills and experience in the following:

  • A background working in a help desk and service desk analyst capacity is essential
  • Understanding and experience of the following technologies:
    • VMware
    • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 / 2008
    • Microsoft Exchange server
    • Microsoft Share point
    • RHEL Version 4
  • Ability to script in Python and / or Power Shell would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication and a team player attitude is essential
