Morgan Hunt are working in partnership with a leading college in London to recruit a new Interim Manager for their Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Plumbing and Heating & Ventilation department.

This is an ongoing consultancy position, paying from £225 per day on an interim basis.

As an interim manager, your main responsibilities would include:
* Responsibility for the day to day development of the deployment and delivery of teaching and learning within the Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Plumbing and Heating & Ventilation curriculum areas
* Identification of staff development needs in compliance with the college strategic priorities and appraisal
* Assisting the Curriculum Director in the compilation of annual development plans.
* Ensure effective induction programmes are included in all learning programmes
* Monitor, evaluate and act upon attendance, retention, and achievement rates so as to ensure compliance with operating targets

The ideal candidate will have:
* Recent management experience within a Grade 1 or Grade 2 College / Department
* Management experience of either the Plumbing, Electrical, Engineering or Motor Vehicle curricula
* A passion for improving teaching and learning within Further Education
* Demonstrable experience of improving retention & achievement rates of students enrolled on Plumbing, Electrical, Engineering or Motor Vehicle courses
