Unified Communications Analyst - Our client, a leading Law Firm is urgently looking for a Unified Communications Analyst for a contract based in London. As Unified Communications Analyst you will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational and project delivery of all IT based communications applications, including Microsoft Exchange (knowledge in Microsoft Exchange 2013 desirable), Lync, Mobile e-mail and calendar systems (Airwatch, Good for Enterprise and BES v5 and v10), e-mail transport and protection including virus scanning (Forefront, Symantec and Clearswift). You would also benefit from knowledge in Enterprise Vault, Email Encryption technologies, Mitel Telephony backend and Rightfax fax service. Further applications include Video conferencing Telepresence Management Suite, Audio conferencing systems and SCOM.
Unified Communications Analyst will need a strong foundation in messaging and telephony. You will be working closely with the Infrastructure Architects as an SME and it is necessary an awareness of the environment across all platforms is understood and that this knowledge is articulated clearly at all times. Vendor management will also be required to facilitate problem resolution. You will assess and recommend architectural designs and changes to systems as necessary.
Unified Communications Analyst skills required:
- Able to work with IT and Support teams to agree communication technology and roadmaps, support all technologies on a day to day operational basis and deliver projects where the above technologies perform all or part of the project
- Microsoft certification in Exchange/Lync
- ITIL Certification
- Mitel accreditation
- Cisco/Tandberg accreditation
- Experienced working in a 3rd line role
- Service Desk maintenance
- MS Exchange
