This primary school in West Drayton in Hillingdon, West London, are seeking to appoint an innovative and dynamic SENCO to lead the Learning Support Team. You will lead a committed team in developing the best possible provision and support for our students with special educational needs throughout the school.
The successful candidate will have a belief in the ability of all students to achieve and be successful and a commitment to raising student achievement. They will be able to demonstrate clear strategic thinking on how to support students with identified needs to make progress. The successful candidate will be able to teach on EYFS, KS1 and KS2 level and have a commitment to continuous school and personal development.
Knowledge, Skills & Personal Qualities:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience of working as a SENCO, preferably in a primary school
- Clear vision for development of learning support
- Experience to teach across Key Stages 1, Key Stage 2 or EYFS
- Knowledge of tests and assessments for Literacy and Numeracy
- National SENCO Award is desirable
