Teacher of Public Services - Kent- January 2014
Capita Education Resourcing is working with a secondary school in Kent to appoint a full time, talented, well qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Public Services to start in January 2014 or dependant on the candidate. The post is open to qualified Teachers as well as NQTs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and motivated secondary Teacher to contribute to this successful and highly effective department. The school is seeking a creative teacher with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to promoting the enjoyment of Public Services and the ability to teach IT or other subjects would be an advantage but is not necessary.
You will be required to deliver to KS3 and KS4 and A-Levels. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and will have no problem consistently teaching inspirational lessons. They will also be likely to have knowledge of diverse topics such as citizenship, war and conflict, law, politics and the role of media in Society. A proven track record of positive behaviour management is also important. A knowledge of the work of emergency and military services is desirable.
