Food Technology Teacher - Gravesend - January 2014

Capita Education is working with a school in Gravesend who are keen to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and inspirational Secondary Food Technology teacher who can deliver the full curriculum to keep pupils stimulated and engaged. They are looking for a Secondary Food Technology teacher who can deliver Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and 4.and also deliver lessons on Health & Social Care, Psychology & Sociology. This is a permanent part time contract.

The school has a fantastic DT department who are hardworking and committed to raising standards and achievements of all their pupils. Planning, preparation, long term and medium term planning will be the responsibility of the Food Technology teacher. You will have access to plenty of resources to support.

You will be expected to deliver KS3 and KS4 English. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of teaching and learning, including the use of technology and interactive learning techniques.

You will be joining a successful and innovative department with extremely supportive staff and excellent resources. This is an excellent opportunity for professional development with an experienced and supportive Leadership Team.

You must hold QTS or a recognised teaching qualification and be able to provide teaching references from those who have seen you in the classroom environment
