Major Worldwide brand is looking to recruit a global ecommerce analyst.

The Role:

  • Delivering regular reporting of eCommerce performance to the worldwide eCommerce trading managers
  • Proactively analysing data, for example including Analytics, sales data, SEM performance data, email response data and suggest alternative strategies and tactics to the eCommerce trading managers worldwide
  • Reactively investigate data in response to challenges raised during trading meetings and other regular and ad-hoc reviews
  • Build the client's competence in eCommerce analytics worldwide
Necessary Experience:
  • Solid exposure to ecommerce is essential. The successful candidate will have some experience of retail or a transactional website
  • Numerous experiences of working with Google Analytics
  • Excel - Advanced
  • SQL - Average to advanced knowledge
  • SEO, SEM/PPC, eMail marketing

Desirable (non-essential experience):

  • Keen interest in web-analytics tool, always staying on market trend and keep an open eye for technologies that maybe adopted in the future e.g. coremetrics
  • Any knowledge of statistical analysis software such as SPSS or SAS
  • Track-record in using statistical data to segment customers and derive appropriate personalisation strategies
  • Track-record of working alongside specialist agencies (e.g. in SEM), analysing the effectiveness of their contribution and helping to direct their activities
This is interesting role for a strong ecommerce analyst to work for a major worldwide brand. Please note the necessary experience e.g. ecommerce, google analytics, excel, and SQL are essential skills.
