A global Investment Bank is looking for a Support Analyst to work on their dealing floor, supporting desktop and office based technology solutions surrounding their Microsoft environment. As a Support Analyst you will provide remote desktop support as an escalation for IT Service desk including Operating system support, desktop hardware and mobile technologies across the Bank.

The Support Analyst will be responsible for liaising with other staff members to ensure quick issue resolution, play a role in operational projects and work with the Service desk, Problem Management teams and other technology teams to benefit continual service improvement and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

To be considered for the role of Support Analyst, Investment Bank, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, TCP/IP, LAN, VPN, Bloomberg, experience in the following is essential:

  • Ability to provide support for the Microsoft environment - Windows 7/XP, Office 2007.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with Networking (TCP/IP), Connectivity (VPN) Telephony (Cisco Voip) and Blackberry / iPhones
  • Knowledge of market data applications beneficial such as Reuters, Bloomberg, Factset etc
