We require committed and enthusiastic English Teachers with strong subject knowledge and PMLD/SEN experience for long-term positions, 5 days per week starting January 2013.


The job?
The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Recent experience of teaching English to pupils with PMLD/SEN within a SEN setting
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons
- Only applications from Qualified Teachers will be accepted

The school?
The school is well led and managed. It specialises in supporting learners who have various difficulties including autistic spectrum disorder and moderate or severe learning difficulties. They apply a holistic approach to learning, and work closely with speech therapists, the school doctor and nurse, as well as outside agencies to enable all children and young people with special educational needs to access the curriculum.

Pupils make good progress and achieve well across a wide range of subjects. They enjoy a supportive environment and have strong, respectful relationships with the team


The ideal candidate would have experience of teaching SEN students in a mainstream environment and a passion for supporting and encouraging students through a whole child approach.
