A leading global bank with international operations is looking for a Regulatory Change Specialist to join their Regulatory Affairs department as an Associate Director. The business is a well established prestigious banking institution and they require an Associate Director to join their growing team.

The individual will have experience in regulatory affairs affecting commercial banking organisations, have previously taken ownership of managing regulatory change projects ensuring the project is tracked, communicated and auctioned in the organisation.

The successful candidate will have previously managed relationships with regulators, preferably the PRA and FCA. The job involves delivery of RMP actions, drafting SIF applications and contributing the bank's development of regulatory compliance and change projects.

The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:

  • Experience in the regulatory environment and the regulatory pressures on commercial banks
  • A solid understanding of the regulations coming out of the parliamentary commission, FCA and PRA.
  • Knowledge of commercial banking processes and regulation.
  • Able to manage relationship both internally and with external regulators (PRA, FCA)
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to assess problems and develop solutions, seeing these through to implementation.
  • Diagnose, investigate, analyse and pursue changes in the bank.
  • Manage multiple work streams and projects in the regulatory affairs side of the business
  • Strong and confident communicator

The associate director will contribute knowledge in banking regulations to the business. You will be working on a broad range of projects and interaction with senior management & regulators will be frequent.
