The School
The school is the most successful school in the area for pupil progress, achieving Good with Outstanding Features in it's last Ofsted As a former grammar school is maintains it's high standards of academic excellence and as such is a popular choice for parents and child in the Bury area . In Science students study Chemistry, Physics and Biology as separate subjects to prepare high level knowledge to continue at A level.

The Child
Students attend form across the Bury area. Due to the closure of a failing nearby high school the cohort of students come from a variety of background and academic aspiration. Academic success has come from teachers and staff maintaining a high standards of behaviour, progress and engagement in lessons and school life.

The Job
English teacher required to teach at both KS3 & KS4 at a secondary school in Bury.
Long term vacancy commencing in January.
Full time, 5 days per week.
Pupils are taught in sets throughout both Key Stage Three and Four.

All applicants must have completed a PGCE Secondary qualification or Bachelor of Education providing Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
NQTs will be supported in their induction.
Salary range: ?475-?700 per week (pre 12 week agency worker regulations, dependent on references and experience)
