This is a full-time job opportunity. Salary: £25-30k depending on experience.

Key responsibilities of the role:

•Working with the head of UK marketing and the marketing manager to develop and deliver the marketing strategy and plan.
•Supporting the head of UK marketing and the marketing manager in managing and implementing integrated, cross sector UK marketing campaigns. These typically involve activities across the marketing mix including: project planning, designing questionnaires in conjunction with consultants and their PR agency, developing white papers, articles and other collateral, developing and managing direct mail and email campaigns, social media activity, microsites, events, sponsorship and coordinating follow up.
•Supporting the head of UK marketing and the marketing manager in managing and implementing global campaigns to a UK audience.
•Supporting the head of UK marketing and the marketing manager in managing and implementing company UK wide initiatives, including brand implementation, conferences and events etc.
•Managing individual marketing activities including events, eComms, sponsorship etc.
•Championing social media within the team and across the business.
•Spotting PR opportunities for the company and working with the PR agency and consultants to create compelling stories for journalists.
•Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities.
•Manage the website.
•Manage the relationship with third party influencers.
•Communicate marketing initiatives across the firm and engage consultants in taking marketing thought leadership to market.
•General administration (managing lists etc.).

Key candidate requirements for the role:

•They should have a CIM diploma or equivalent accredited (or currently working towards) or relevant marketing experience.
•Experience ideally in a professional services environment.
•An understanding and appreciation of the sectors they work within, including structure/language used etc. would be desirable.
•Skilled in the use of design packages (InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Writer) would be an advantage.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office packages: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•Good copywriting and proof reading skills.
•Ability to turn complex ideas into compelling and engaging marketing materials.
•A proactive individual who’s quick to learn.
•Resilience and ability work effectively with people at all levels.
•Natural tendency to innovate and find new ways of doing things.
•Excellent team player with an ability to build relationships at all levels across the business.
•Strong attention to detail with good problem solving skills.
•Someone with emotional maturity.
•A keenness to progress in marketing.
•Capable of managing marketing campaigns and advising consultants on the best approach to take their offerings to market.
•Someone capable of supporting the head of UK marketing and the marketing manager in developing marketing plans.
