The Client:

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a leading independent waste and recycling company based in the West Midlands. The client has experienced unprecedented growth in recent times and is now seeking a Commercial Sales Manager. My client is an innovative and dynamic company seeking to expand in the commercial markets.


The Role:

My client requires a Commercial Sales Manager to gain new business in the commercial waste sector. The Commercial Sales Manager will be focusing on generating and following up leads as well as working alongside an innovative team. The role will involve extensive travel in the West Midlands area.


Responsibilities:

The Commercial Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing a forward thinking and strategic business plan as well as formulating and managing a likeminded sales team. The Commercial Sales Manager will also be accountable for ensuring that sales targets are exceeded as well as attending professional events to represent the company. The Commercial Sales Manager will need to develop and train existing staff as well as being capable of liaising with a multitude of stakeholders including mid to senior level management. The Commercial Sales Manager will also be regularly carrying out business presentations.


Requirements:

• A comprehensive background in the waste industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• A proven track record in sales
• Be well versed in business development
• Be able to effectively motivate and manage a sales team
• Experienced in formulating and implementing business strategies
• Be able to carry out business presentations
