One of the biggest names in sport is offering an exciting opportunity to support the sponsorship sales team with research, analysis and data on potential sponsors.

This paid (NMW) 6 week placement offers a unique opportunity to gain experience working in a fast paced and dynamic office while also learning about the sports marketing industry. This company are looking to take on an intern as soon as possible.

Tasks interns should expect to learn about and undertake would include:

•Carrying out daily activities such as the preparation, customisation and dispatching of marketing materials.
•Some desk research, database management and sourcing/collating of items.
•You will perform high quality stock keeping and proof reading.
•Logistical preparation including mail merging, sending letters and packages and dealing with couriers on a daily basis.
•This role will involve an in-depth insight into the logistics of a global company.
•This is a brilliant opportunity to support the operations team on a major complex project.

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:

•You will ideally hold a relevant degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business or Events Management and have been graded a 2.1 and above or you will be entering your final year of university with a predicted 2.1 and above.
•You will have a strong academic record supported by evidence of extra curriculum
•High level of self-motivation with repetitive tasks and an extremely high level of attention to detail.
•Someone with a proactive nature who possesses a hands-on approach to their work.
•Excellent organisational skills and computer literacy is important, with experience in all MS Office packages.
•You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a mature, confident and professional telephone manner.
•The ability to work in an independent, resourceful and self-confident manner is important.
•This project is extremely exclusive and highly confidential so you will need to be able to demonstrate that you can handle such activities.
•Although not essential, fluency in Mandarin would be a bonus.
