One of the biggest names in sport is offering an exciting opportunity to support the sponsorship sales team with research, analysis and data on potential sponsors.

This is a paid internship. Salary: NMW.

You will learn from and support support the Sponsorship Sales Operations team in the co-ordination, collation and distribution of marketing packs to potential sponsors.

How you can expect to spend your day:

Pack management
•Co-ordinating and assembling the materials involved in marketing packs.
•Liaising with all support teams to ensure deadlines are met.
•Suggest process improvements where appropriate.
•Manage your role in the marketing process effectively and timely.
•Carry out thorough quality checks to ensure all marketing materials meet Manchester United’s standards.

Supplier/Stock management
•Provide support in stock auditing – Creating weekly reports to senior members of the team.
•Managing stock levels for your team.
•Supporting members of the team at the external storage unit.
•Co-ordinating with external suppliers regarding marketing materials.

Project work
•As instructed by your line manager to undertake additional ad hoc project work.
•All work is done thoroughly and to a high standard

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications:

•An excellent academic background, with a minimum 2.1 degree from a UK university (or equivalent if obtained abroad) - ideally Marketing, Sports Management, Business or Events Management.
•You pay attention to detail and you are trustworthy and tenacious.
•Able to multi task, highly organised and a logical approach to tasks.
•You have excellent written and verbal skills and you are a hard worker.
•Strong Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook skills.
•Sound personal qualities such as, the ability to work in a team environment, self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure.
•You should exhibit pride in performance.
